Bahwan Engineering Company Hosts Road Safety Awareness Program with Royal Oman Police Ahead of Ramadan

At Bahwan Engineering Company LLC (BEC), safety remains a top priority, especially for our drivers who play a crucial role in our daily operations. In line with our commitment to road safety, the HSE Department organized a Road Safety Awareness Program on 25th February 2025, in collaboration with the Royal Oman Police (ROP). This session was conducted ahead of Ramadan, a time when road traffic increases, particularly before Iftar.

The program focused on equipping our drivers with essential road safety knowledge, including:

✔ Adhering to traffic laws and speed limits
✔ Defensive driving techniques to prevent accidents
✔ Managing fatigue and staying alert while fasting
✔ Safe driving practices during peak Ramadan traffic hours

Expert officers from the Royal Oman Police shared valuable insights and real-life case studies to emphasize the importance of patience, attentiveness, and responsible driving behavior.
